What you'll need for your PayPal business account
PayPal verification is a one-time legal check ("know your customer"). With the right details at hand it takes about ten minutes.
Checklist
- Legal business name, address, and registration/tax number
- A representative's details - name, date of birth, and government ID if asked
- A phone number for verification codes
Common snags
- Pending status - PayPal sometimes asks for one more document; check the prompt in Connect payouts
- Name mismatch - the account must belong to the verified business or person
- Wrong country - your PayPal account's country must match your gym's country (it drives your payout currency)
